[Chris Legend]

The scene opens just outside the arena, where a parking lot sits, with only one car. The loud city is accompanied by the glaring lights, with the glimmering stars of the night shining overhead. A man is seen leaning against a light pole, next to his car. He is wearing a simple black dress shirt, faded blue jeans, and holds a cigarette in his hand. He takes a hit from the cigarette, and leans his head to the sky, blowing out the smoke to the light overhead. He leans his head back down and begins speaking.

: There's something about these stars. They seem...artificial. Unreal. Fake. Stars don't belong over a city. They belong on the countryside, above a long, never-ending field, with a single tree for young lovers to cuddle under. But, when you put them over a city...they seem to be...ignored, if you will. Busy people bustling from place to place, doing their assorted business. They pay no attention to the stars.

 He takes one final hit off the cigarette, and flicks it off into the parking lot into a puddle, where it sizzles and dies off.

  : That seems to be a common thing these days...No one pays attention to the stars. These days, it's all about the fake lights that give artificial light. They will go away eventually, and people don't seem to realize that. When it's all said and done, those lights have faded, and what's left? The stars. It always comes back to the stars. And yet, people still choose to not give them the respect they deserve. They don't want to see the stars anymore. Those are always there. Always shining in the sky. No...they want to see the young, bright lights, that flash different colors, and are pleasing to the eye. Never, not once, do they stop to think when those lights will die.

: Without the stars...would there be the inspiration for those young lights? What would they have based those lights off of? It's quite simple, actually...they wouldn't have. Those lights wouldn't exist if it had not been for the never-ending stars above. People don't usually like what I have to say. I say the things that they don't want to face in their lives. I remind them of things they don't want to remember. For example, people don't like the fact that I tell them that all their lights will eventually die. They don't like that they know I'm right when I say that the stars are forever. It's beyond their grasp to properly understand that.

: People like me...we ARE the stars...we ARE the one that people should look up to, but don't. They don't want to see old guys like me in the ring...they want to see the new, young, up-and-comers, with not real skill...because they can relate to them. The no talent, undeserving, pieces of crap...they haven't earned the right to be in my ring yet...

  : I don't suppose you all know who I am, and you could probably care even less...and that works for me. You don't deserve to know my name. You will learn it in due time. I'm the best of the best, I'm a bit of a...Legend, if you will...

The man steps away from the light pole, and starts walking to his car, while letting out a loud, long laugh.
