BiographyWhat is known of Jack's childhood is unimportant. He was born in Brisbane. He grew up in an average family, performing averagely in school, only excelling in english. This was mostly due to his avid interest in the human condition and the extremities of which it could be pushed and pulled. However, he found himself bound by his mediocrity. He joined the only small time federation in Brisbane, quickly taking up the path of learning submissions. Once he had mastered this art, he moved to the United States.
This is the point where his ethics and morals became twisted. Getting a small time job in a indy fed in New York, Jones saw human kind at it's most detestable limits. He noticed basic human decency was thrown completely out the window in many areas of society and was sickened by the nonchalent approach onlookers would give the homeless. His naivity left also. He started to hate himself for not helping them -- for letting them suffer in something much, much worse than mediocrity. And instead of becoming grateful for his upbringing, he resented all those who showed greed and prejudice over those less fortunate than themselves.
His mind slowly began to unravel as he became isolated in a different country. He became paranoid, manic-depressive and had on many occasions suffered hallucinations purely because of his crushing loneliness. Others tried to reach out to him; but he remained isolated. This eventually turned him to a state where he practically had a god-complex. He turned his state of mind around, thinking he was a bastion for all that is good in the world. In this light, Jones believed he could do whatever he pleased and any outcome would be favourable to himself.
Asserting himself in federations such as The Breeding Grounds, Jones was well-regarded for his technical capabilities. The idealistic society he pictured as a child; where someone could ascend from mediocrity and become something of themselves... was crushed. These ideals have now formed something else, something boiling beneath the skin. He is now excused from sin - but no one else is.
